SF-282 PBM Resin is substituted resorcinol based resin useful for preparation of low- and medium polarity latex-resin compounds for dipping tyre cords and adhering the rubbers to textile materials. It is excellent substitute for resorcinol-based resins, used in the same applications. The impregnation of the cord and textile material should be performed at temperature 20 to 30º C. In tyre and rubber production it is automatically charged to reactors from barrels. Low cost, very low toxicity, non-flammable, unlimited water solubility without addition of NaOH, long guaranteed storage life – 8 months, good thermal stability and 30 days long pot life are making our resin superior to all known resins. Invisible noncoloured film on dipped fibber makes it useful in very specific applications. No VOC’s is making it very friendly to the environment. SF-282 PBM is giving an excellent performance with polyester cord materials and is competing successfully with the worldwide analogues.
